Specifications include, but are not limited to: The DoIT is responsible for Infrastructure and Operations as well as enterprise backups. Project Overview/Justification: Work with an integrator to replace existing enterprise Backup solution using Commvault, Pure Storage and Wasabi technology. Phase 1: Backup to Cloud target, disk, or tape to meet the following objectives: • Satisfy individual Agency varied compliancy and retention needs. • Immutability. • Reduces cost per TB. • Deprecates the current solution while leveraging existing equipment that has not reached EOL. • Reduces or eliminates dependency on tape as primary long-term backup medium. • Supports disk, tape and tapeless and cloud target technology. • Data encrypted in transit and at rest. • Clear separation of data between Agencies (i.e.: FTI for one doesn’t put another in scope for audits). • Supports Litigation Holds and Right to Know requests. • Supports Containers (Kubernetes, Docker). • Backups to include Enterprise messaging, file, VMWare, database and directory services. Phase 2: Implementation of a scalable environment to restore and run production applications in the event of a disaster leveraging phase 1 solution with varying RTO’s. • Data storage, backup and replication services. • Routing and logical network configuration capabilities to maintain functionality of DoIT server-based applications and reduce configuration changes during a disaster event. • Defined activation process with predictable recovery times supported by an SLA. • Access to Backup and DRaaS resources for monitoring and audit purposes. • Security measures and capabilities to protect DoIT resources. • Ability to remotely configure backup and DRaaS resources, including the requisite tools and support required to configure and monitor the environment. • Ability to conduct regular recovery tests. • Pricing models and detail that show all relevant charges to DoIT for processing, connectivity, tools, storage, etc. over a 3-year period.
