Specifications include, but are not limited to: Assessment Responsibilities: • Red Triangle/High Flyers, all displaced students, and all students active in Truancy court. • Informal interviews (ongoing), student questionnaires (at the beginning and end of year), student progress and new needs that have risen (quarterly), academic test scores (beginning and end of year), report cards (quarterly) and court documents (monthly‐ Truancy) • Addressing student needs through data analysis by identifying and services our high needs students and families. • Provide regular reports to the principal or assigned supervisor on activities in the school and community including hours worked on specific initiatives. • Provide a mid‐year and end of year report to principal or supervisor regarding services provided and the number of students and families served. • Notify school administration when not present in the school for professional or personal reasons. Training Responsibilities: • Hire, train, supervise and evaluate site staff • Prepare and deliver training on best practices related to the instruction of students with emotional disabilities, autism, and/or other behavioral needs. • Provide in class modeling, teaching and feedback to staff regarding the implementation of behavioral and instructional strategies. • Areas of training may include, but are not limited to: Visual supports, scheduling for engagement, reinforcement strategies, communication skills, prompting hierarchies, health and safety. • Train and support staff in the collection and interpretation of behavioral and instructional data.
