Specifications include, but are not limited to: University of Maine System (UMS) is looking for a best-in-class solution to provide holistic mental health and emotional wellbeing support for its employees and their families. While the services of a traditional Employee Assistance Program (EAP) are desired, UMS is looking for an innovative and creative partner who can deliver beyond the scope of a “traditional EAP” to help them develop their emotional wellbeing strategy. The scope of desired capabilities includes (but is not limited to) mental health therapy, psychiatry, navigation support, work/life support, legal, financial, critical incident response, management/employee trainings, etc. UMS is looking for a creative, strategic, and innovative partner that can effectively: ▪ Expand access to mental health providers and support ▪ Faster response rate, and appointment times with more real time support; the ability to prioritize all situations’ not just critical need ▪ Provide the right mental health support/care at right time ▪ Inclusive mental health support/care using diverse set of providers ▪ Proactive and strategic engagement of the workforce and their families ▪ More robust service to help support parents in connecting their child(ren) with services, both inpatient and outpatient ▪ More personal and concierge-style experience and support ▪ Effective deployment of technology (digital, virtual, AI, texting, chat, etc.) to provide support across the spectrum of emotional wellbeing needs ▪ More flexibility with types of scheduling (texting, virtual, online therapy, face to face) to meet needs of all generations of the workforce ▪ Strategic and responsive account management support who proactively bring best-in-class recommendations
