Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Demolition: a. General Construction: 1) Minor concrete saw-cutting, core-drilling and miscellaneous structural concrete removal/repair of areas disturbed by construction activities. b. Mechanical, Electrical, Fire, Protection, and Plumbing: Minor removal of existing hydronic piping, pipe insulation, associated mechanical work, and miscellaneous associated hydronic items related to installation of hydronic water circulation pumps, piping and pipe specialties within the facility. Existing plant operations are to remain operational during construction with exception of scheduled shutdowns. 2. New Construction: a. General Construction: 1) Concrete pump equipment pads, miscellaneous core drilling of floor systems for installation of hydronic piping and conduits, pipe supports, including minor painting of mechanical systems. 2) Mechanical: Furnishing and installing new hydronic piping systems, pipe and pipe fittings, piping specialties, pipe insulation and covering, valves, actuators, flow meters, and installation of Owner-Furnished-Equipment (OFE) water circulation pumps, and miscellaneous pipe supports associated with installing pump equipment on concrete bases in the existing plant areas.
