Specifications include, but are not limited to: SITE PREPARATION Provide all labor, equipment, materials and perform all operations necessary to complete the work of this Section as indicated within the Drawings and specified herein which shall include but is not limited to the following: 1. Protection of existing site conditions to remain. 2. Protection of existing treesto remain. 3. Topsoil stripping,stockpiling and/or removal off-site,storage and return to the site. 4. Filling of voids and excavations resulting fromthe work. 5. Removal of pavement. 6. Removal or relocation of existing site features. 7. Erosion control. EQUIPMENT BASKETBALL HOOPS A. Provide detailed shop drawings that include the manufacturer’s specifications and recommended installation prior to ordering materials. B. Furnish and installsix (6) complete basketball goals in accordance with DI C. the Drawings and the manufacturer’s recommended installation. D. Basketball posts, backboards, goal and netshall be provided by one of the following or Landscape Architect approved equal. E. Goals posts shall consist of 5-9/16” O.D. schedule 40 steel pipe with a 90 degree bend giving the backboard a 6 foot offset. Postshall be hot dip galvanized per ASTM A123 category 100. F. Backboard shall be clear, UV resistant, ½” thick polycarbonate, tempered glass, or approved material with dimensions 72”x42”. Backboard shall be framed with E-channel extruded aluminum and attached with stainless steel hardware. Target shall be silk screened on the face of the backboard with trim.
