Specifications include, but are not limited to: DCF is seeking to enter a contract or contracts with one or more vendors who has/have demonstrated experience in restorative practice and organizational consultation services that will embed practices more deeply into the work of the division, for the betterment of the workforce and the families served. DCF/FSD would like to explore and identify action steps and/or a strategic plan to achieve the desired state: The Contractor shall: 1) engage in exploratory discussions, in person and virtually, to examine current culture of restorative practices, impediments to use, current connectivity/relationships, and where we go from here; 2) assist in the identification of domains to consider application of restorative practices; 3) assist in implementation of steps and plans with FSD staff; and 4) ensure the principles of accountability, repairing the harm, and restoring relationships will be woven into the mission, vision, policies, and practice of FSD. Contractor shall provide: 1) support and guidance to the State through exploration of organizational culture around restorative practices and development of new policies and practices once opportunities for restorative application are identified; 2) provide in person meetings plus follow up meetings to support the identification of domains for exploration of application of a restorative lens; and 3) shall draft and submit a short narrative summary of the support provided on a monthly basis during this follow-up period to the FSD Program Manager and DCF Grants and Contracts Manager.
