Specifications include, but are not limited to: MINIMUM SPECIFICATIONS - PVC (PVC) Poly Vinyl Chloride plastic sewer pipe shall be SDR 35 as classified by Standard Dimension Ratio (SDR). All pipe and fittings for nominal diameters of 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 and 15 inches for gravity sewers shall conform to the requirements of ASTM Designation D3034. All pipe and fittings for nominal diameters of 18, 21, 24 and 27 inches for gravity sewers shall conform to the requirements of ASTM Designation F679. MINIMUM SPECIFICATIONS - CORRUGATED Corrugated Polyethylene pipe, underdrain pipe and fittings shall conform to the latest requirements of AASHTO M252 and AASHTO M294. All pipe, underdrain pipe and associated components shall be compatible for the given size and shall be heavy-duty corrugated polyethylene. Manufacturers of Polyethylene (PE) pipe must participate in, and maintain compliance with, the AASHTO "National Transportation Product Evaluation Program" (NTPEP) that audits producers of plastic pipe. PERFORATED TYPE SP (AND UNPERFORATED TYPE S) CORRUGATED UNDERDRAIN PIPE (TUBING) TYPE S Underdrain pipe, sized 6” through 8” having a stiffness of 60PSI with a pipe length not to exceed 20 linear feet shall be available either perforated (slotted) or unperforated (unslotted), at no difference in price. In case of perforated pipe, slots shall be uniformly spaced along length and circumference, so as to provide a minimum drainage inlet area of at least 1.0 square inches per linear foot. Slots shall be cleanly cut with no extraneous materials, strings, or webs remaining in the perforations. All pipe shall conform to the latest AASHTO M2852 with the exception of pipe stiffness.
