Specifications include, but are not limited to: Aircraft with passenger capacity as noted in RFP document and must be able to accommodate all baggage and Football Team equipment. Estimated times of departure are shown in the following schedule and are subject to change resulting from game time changes, television broadcasting, weather, etc. Pricing will include all costs associated with a trip including any state or federal taxes, surcharges, landing fees and airport fees, unless otherwise explicitly stated. SDSU prefers cabin-seating arrangements enhanced for transporting athletes, and a first class section, or other area set-aside for larger team members. Each vendor will provide a confirmation of the team schedule including information regarding additional costs involved with providing last minute flexibility in arrival and departure times. Vendor will state when the last change in schedule can be made prior to a flight. Any payment to carrier/charter company must be held in an approved escrow account until the trip is completed. Availability of aircraft will be verified, or proposal will not be considered. In recognition of the volatility in the cost of fuel, SDSU shall pay vendor or vendor shall pay SDSU, a fuel true-up after each charter/trip has been completed. SDSU will NOT pay for any fuel surcharges prior to any trip’s scheduled departure. For each trip, fuel pricing must be representative of current fuel pricing at each destination.
