Specifications include, but are not limited to: Bid for professional window cleaning of the buildings listed as per the following specifications. Not all buildings listed will be cleaned each year. A yearly schedule will be provided each spring. Generally speaking, the time frame for cleaning windows for Academic buildings falls between late May and the end of June. The Housing buildings time frame is typically during the month of August. The exact dates will be determined with the awarded bidder. UND may also elect to add or remove buildings or windows/glass to this contract as their needs change. If UND adds a building, they will request the awarded Contractor to submit a price for cleaning the specified windows/glass in the additional building(s). UND will then determine if that pricing is appropriate and fair. If determined fair, UND may add it to the contract. Owner Responsibilities: - Owner will be responsible for removing exterior screens on buildings where they are accessible from the inside of the building. - Owner will be responsible for all window air-conditioners. Bidder’s Responsibilities: - Bidder will be responsible for removing and replacing all screens not taken care of by owner. - Bidder is responsible for all materials, equipment (including lifts), and labor needed to successfully complete the job. - Bidder must coordinate the cleaning schedule with the UND Facilities department to avoid conflicts with school schedules.
