Anodized Aluminum Sign Blanks, thoroughly cleaned to meet ASTM B-449, 080(.203cm) standard specifications. Sign Blanks to have radius corners to meet MUTCD,(FHWA) specifications. Using approved industry American Traffic Safety Services Association (ATSSA) equal conversion coating ASTM B-921 is acceptable. Fabrication to a finished sign blank, including (if needed) the punch hole pattern must be done in such a manner as to assure that finished sign blanks are free of buckle, crevice, warp, dents, burrs and/or other irregularities. Sign blanks shall be from 6061-T or 5052-H38 aluminum alloy from stretcher level coil sheet or flat sheet, anodized and degreased. Flatness tolerance is to be within 1/8” when laid on a flat surface. All size dimensions are shown as horizontal x vertical. All punch patterns to be 3/8" diameter holes unless otherwise stated. Maximum weight per pallet is 1,500 lbs.
