Specifications include, but are not limited to: Metro is requesting proposals from qualified companies with Cummins certified technicians to diagnosis, analyze, submission of documents and repair of bus engines and ancillary systems under the Time Contract. This accounts for buses which may experience failures during the term of this project. Diagnosis of engine warning lights, the ability to use and read Cummins InSite software, proficiency in after treatment exhaust and DEF systems repairs, ability to work on both diesel and CNG fuel systems, ability to work on cooling and air systems tied to the engine components, and any ancillary systems affecting the performance of the engine are defined as in scope of this project. All Cummins warranty repairs must be recognized and submitted to Cummins Inc. The mechanic should be able and legal to test drive the bus after repairs have been completed. This work consists of all labor required for procurement services, as well as all bonds, permits, and insurance necessary for this project and as required by Federal and State Laws and City Ordinances; and the general mobilization of equipment required for the completion of the work as stated in the RFP Documents. The cost proposal shall include all permits and fees, as required, to perform the project, unless otherwise noted in the RFP Documents.
