Specifications include, but are not limited to: The project scope is the replacement of the existing finished floor and some wall finish in the kitchen of the Maine State Prison. The project will include the removal of the existing floor and wall finish, repair of any damaged sub-floor or walls, and installation of a new floor and wall finish. There is potential mold observed on some walls, it will need to be identified and abated according to current laws. Before the installation of any flooring or wall material, the project includes disconnection, removal, and relocation of existing kitchen equipment, its safe storage and eventual re-installation of the same equipment after the floor has been replaced. The cost of the work is approximately $ 250,000. The work to be performed under this contract shall take no longer than 3 weeks start to finish and be completed on or before the Final Completion date of July 1, 2024. The kitchen is integral to the operation of the facility and cannot be out of operation longer than the aforementioned 3 weeks.
