Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of vehicular and pedestrian traffic for the duration of the construction period. Installation and maintenance of temporary traffic and detour signs, temporary pavement markings, barriers, barricades, and other transition devices; reconfiguring the devices in conjunction with changes in the work area; and their removal and disposal upon project completion, including restoration of areas disturbed by temporary traffic detours to their original condition. 2. Implementation of sediment and erosion control measures during construction. 3. Mobilization and demobilization provision and maintenance of work and storage area, Field Layout, and performance of Employee Training. 4. Removal and disposal of existing roadway pavement, curbs, gutters, sidewalk, and miscellaneous structures as shown on the contract plans. 5. Grade the entire area work within limits to the new elevations, as shown on the contract plans. 6. Adjust/Modify the existing manholes and other built-in structures as required to include frame and cover elevation adjustments, new pipe connections and abandoning of existing pipe connections. 7. Mill and overlay existing pavement & Construction of new asphalt pavements on aggregate base course and permeable layers as shown on plans. 8. Construction of Best Management Practices including Micro-bioretention as shown on the plans. 9. Planting of street trees, shrubs, perennials, ornamental grasses, groundcover, and turf grass at locations shown on Landscaping plans and/or as directed by the engineer. 10. Replace existing PCC sidewalk and the construction of new wheelchair ramps as shown on plans 11. Installation of new granite curbs, resetting of existing granite curbs, & construction of new Brick gutters. 12. Reconstruction of PCC Alley-driveway Entrances, PCC/Brick/concrete Sidewalks, as shown on plans. 13. Drainage upgrades- new storm drainpipe, catch basins & connecting pipes, new manholes, installation of new drainage structures. 14. Milling and resurfacing of existing pavement sections adjacent to the reconstruction as shown on the contract plans, and repair of existing base, where required. 15. Install new or replace trash receptacles, benches, and bike racks as shown on plans. 16. Installation and Removal of roadway signs as shown on plans. 17. Furnish, set, and remove existing fire hydrants. 18. Installation of permanent paving markings, as shown on plans. 19. Installation of Traffic Signals including poles, heads, push buttons, manholes, conduits, and wiring & Construction of Street Light & Electrical work, as shown on plans. 20. Execution and monitoring of the Transportation Management Plan. 21. Prepare as-built drawings, and 22. Finally, the work includes disposal of all unsuitable excavated materials, and all other incidental items of work necessary to obtain a complete and final product.
