Specifications include, but are not limited to: 5. Prior to remediation; request underground utility location, acquire all applicable permits and submit utilities locate confirmation, materials (soil, sod & mulch) testing confirmation and Toxic Characteristic Leaching Procedure results documentation (TCLP) to City staff for approval. 6. Utilize an NLLAP approved Laboratory for all materials analysis. (Soil organics can be analyzed by Midwest Labs) 7. Contact the PROPERTY OWNER at least three (3) days prior to performing any remediation operations. !f contact cannot be made, City staff may assist in making contact. Projects cannot begin without making contact. 8. Provide a remediation schedule to the City staff prior to performing remediation operations on a daily or weekly basis. 9. The Contractor's Project Manager must be on-site (or at the site within 30 min, if requested by the City. 10. Request an inspection by City at the end of each phase of each project before beginning the next phase (excavation, back-fill and sod installation) Record all lnsitu readings on the field sheet for City review. 11. Set up and maintain protective measures for ALL concrete surfaces and "Clean" areas that are utilized for access prior to remediation. This includes¾" plywood and 6 mil plastic. 12. Repair or replace all items damaged, disturbed or removed during construction. Notify the property owner and Construction Specialist of the incident within the same day of the occurrence. 13. All repairs must meet the Rehabilitation Specifications of the City Planning Dept. and MUST BE COMPLETED WITHIN 2 WEEKS OF COMPLETING THE PROJECT. FENCES MUST BE REINSTALLED WITHIN ONE WEEK. 14. At all times, keep the work-site and surrounding area(s) free from accumulations of waste materials or rubbish caused by the work. 15. Install erosion control devices to control soil displacement as necessary. 16. Replace all downspout extensions in Drip Zones at the end of each work day. 17. Refrain from utilizing neighboring properties for any reason unless granted permission and notifying City staff prior to remediation operations. This excludes worker warning signs. 18. Provide and install a safety barrier during the remediation process to prevent entry to unauthorized personnel. The barrier must be an Orange Barricade fence supported by t-posts – Menards SKU 1719545
