Specifications include, but are not limited to: Vendor shall supply all labor, tools, transportation, materials, equipment and permits as necessary and required to perform services as described herein. Make deliveries in accordance with the delivery days and timeframes set forth herein, except on holidays or at other times when the State is closed, including, but not limited to, inclement weather. All references to the time of day are Eastern Time (ET). Delivery shall be made as ordered and in accordance with the terms specified herein. Unless otherwise specified by the State in writing, delivery shall be to a loading dock or receiving platform. The Contractor or Contractor’s shipping designee shall be responsible for removal of product from the carrier and placement on the State loading dock or receiving platform. The State receiving personnel are not required to assist in this process. Reasonable compliance with delivery terms shall be final and binding and the burden of proof of proper receipt of the order shall rest with the Contractor. Label, package and palletize all orders in accordance with industry standard to ensure safe handling and proper and timely delivery. If a shipment is not on pallets or properly palletized at the time of delivery, the Contractor shall be responsible to palletize all products at the delivery Site. Contractor shall pick up all empty pallets on the next scheduled delivery day.
