The Grantee offers certification in any (or multiple) critical-need area(s), as identified by the Delaware Department of Education. At time of this RFP release, these areas include: 1561 Bilingual Teacher, 1562 Teacher of English Learners, 1565 World Language Teacher, 1532 Middle Level Mathematics Teacher, 1542 Secondary Mathematics Teacher, 1533 Middle Level Science Teacher, 1543 Secondary Science Teacher, Special Education (All Areas - 1570, 1571, 1573, 1574, 1575), 1551 Business Education Teacher, 1550 AgriScience Teacher, 1554 Family and Consumer Sciences Teacher, 1531 Middle Level English Language Arts Teacher, 1540 Secondary English Language Arts Teacher, 1521 Elementary Teacher, 1557 Technology Education Teacher, and 1580 School Library Media Specialist. 2. The Grantee offers certification pathways that lead to full licensure within 1-3 years of enrollment by the aspiring educator. 3. The Grantee agrees that it is responsible for candidate recruitment (leveraging any LEA partnerships the Grantee may have developed). 4. The Grantee agrees to implement the program according to their annual budget submitted as part of their response to this RFP, which shall indicate total program costs per candidate, based on a per credit or per coursework rate. Any overhead or administrative costs must be divided into the number of candidates proposed. If different candidate profiles or certification pathways have different costs per candidate, then the budget should be differentiated accordingly. The budget should be based on the maximum number of candidate seats for which the Grantee will seek reimbursement during the annual term. These cost details shall be specified in the budget narrative of this RFP response.
