New retaining hardware for the installation of the new filters shall be sourced by contractor in the event removed hardware requires replacement. The Contractor shall install new weatherhood moisture separators, new filter yokes, new inlet filters, new evaporative media, and new drift eliminators into the inlet after blasting and recoating is completed. The inlet filter materials shall be installed per manufacturer's recommendations. Work in the general area and directly beneath the inlet filter house, by other contractors, will be ongoing during completion of this filter replacement. And as safety is of the utmost importance to the City, the work completed under this contract shall require the use of a belted conveyor system (belt shall be enclosed for both safety and protection from weather) to move filters into and out of the inlet filter house (that extends from 23 foot to 55-foot above grade from ground level).
