Specifications include, but are not limited to: The selected firm shall perform preliminary engineering and plan development services necessary to produce construction contract documents for the listed project in accordance with INDOTs designated letting schedule. The selected firm will also be responsible for: Environmental Document (CE), Environmental Permits, Topographic Survey, Geotechnical Engineering, Roadway and MOT Design and Plan Development, Right-of-Way Plan Development (Engineering and Staking), Right-of-Way Title Research, Utility Coordination, Pavement Design and Construction Phase Services. INDOT is expected to perform Railroad Coordination, Real Estate Acquisition Services (including Right-of-Way Management, Appraising, Review Appraising, Buying and Closing). INDOT will provide approved hydraulics reports for each structure prior to NTP. Other services such as Ecological Surveys, Wetland Mitigation, archeological investigations, historical/architectural investigations, and Subsurface Utility Exploration (SUE) may be included later if these work types become necessary.
