The City of Auburn, Maine, herein referred to as “the City”, is seeking proposals from qualified, interested revaluation companies to submit their Qualifications and a Detailed Cost Proposal for the full measure and list appraisal and revaluation within the corporate limits of the City of Auburn, Maine. This proposal includes revaluation of all taxable and tax-exempt properties to arrive at full and true value to be effective no later than the assessment date of April 1, of the implementation year specified in the contract. Results will be validated by the City Assessor upon submission. The values to be determined shall be “just value” as defined in Maine Statutes and Maine Supreme Court decisions. The basis of valuation shall be the recognized methods of appraising real and personal property. At the conclusion of the revaluation, it is anticipated that property will be valued at 100% of full market value.
