Specifications include, but are not limited to: TYPE DESIGN 4.1 Outdoor, air core, single phase. 4.2 Dry type, self-cooled. 4.3 Suitable for wye connections of three reactors with neutral floating. 4.4 Each reactor will be separately vertically mounted, arranged in an equilateral triangle configuration. 4.5 Reactors shall be provided with base insulators and non-magnetic elevating structure suitable for fastening to anchor bolts on a concrete foundation. The elevating structure shall provide a minimum clearance from live parts to the base of 9 feet. 4.6 Required number and size of anchor bolts with 2 nuts and 2 washers per bolt shall be furnished. All anchor bolts, nuts and washers shall be hot dipped galvanized. 4.7 Coils shall be rigidly supported by epoxy or polyester glass resin and continuous fiberglass filaments. 4.8 Coils shall be insulated with a finish to provide a minimum 30-year service life. 4.9 The reactor shall be free of corona at its maximum operating voltage. 4.10 Lifting facilities shall be provided for each reactor. 4.11 Provide NEMA 6-hole horizontal pads with 1 3/4" hole spacing on the line and neutral terminals. The line and neutral terminals shall have the mechanical capability to support 225lbs axial/radial and 67.5lbs in any direction. The line neutral terminals shall be at the top and line terminals at the bottom. The line terminals shall be located so that 3 cables (per phase) can connect directly to them. 4.12 The reactors and structures shall be designed with loadings in accordance with the latest revisions of NESC, IEEE, and ASCE concurrent with the above loading on the terminals and magnetic interaction between reactors. Bracing shall not conflict with cable riser space.
