Specifications include, but are not limited to: Siding Repair: Repair or replace the missing siding sections and remove old protruding metal flashing from the on the lower left corner of the B wall. Any new siding or trim is to match existing materials. Gutters: Abate the remains of the gutters. Repair any damage with materials to match exterior only. Siding and various millworks: Scrape, prep, prime and paint the wood lap siding on all sides of the home with LBP specific primer and final coated with durable exterior paint. 1. Scrape, prep, prime and paint the soffit, fascia and corner trim with LBP specific primer and final coated with durable exterior semi-gloss paint. 2. Scrape, prep, prime, paint the window, casings, doorjambs, and trim with LBP specific primer and final coated with durable exterior semi-gloss paint. 2. Exposed Soil: Encapsulate the two (2) planting beds / play areas to the right and left of the front door. Apply pre-emergent weed killer to the ground area to be covered. Lay and secure down durable water permeable weed barrier landscape fabric to the ground and secure. Apply a minimum of 3-inch deep blanket of bark mulch to cover the area. Lead Based Paint (LBP) specific primer is to be used. Primer is to meet or surpass the ASTM E-1795 standard for lead-based paint encapsulants for both indoor and outdoor use. Primer is to contain a bitter tasting anti-ingestant. All Paint is to have a minimum 20-year manufacturer's warranty. Contractor to follow all manufacturer instructions and precautions to ensure the warranty coverage. Client to confirm all color and finish selections with the contractor.
