(minimum) G.V.W.R. 2. Platform - Length - 38 ft. (32 ft. wood deck and 6 ft. beavertail). Width - 102 inches (to include rubrail and stake pockets). Height - No greater than 36 inches empty. Construction - 1) Low profile pierced main frame and all related components must be high tensile strength steel. 2) Boxed steel or structural channel outer framework. To include boxed/reinforced radius wheel cutouts on side rails to accommodate tire/wheel removal and install under loaded conditions. 3) 16-inch on center stringers or cross members full width of Bed. 4) Stake Pockets, 1 5/8” x 3 5/8”, (must allow passage of 3/8” chain and hooks) spaced every two feet along sides with 5/16” x 2.5” or 1/4” x 3” strap welded to outside face of the pockets to form a “rub rail”. Double pipe spools between each pocket. Stake pockets, rub rails and pipe spools to run the entire length of trailer. 5) Steps - Two (2) per side. One (1) upfront near the Gooseneck on each side and One (1) in front of trailer axle on each side. Steps must be a minimum of 10-inch wide. 6) Beavertail - 6 ft. w/ double incline. Constructed with ¼” x 5” x 3” angle iron. 7) Ramp - Single ramp, 6’ long x full width of trailer w/electric/hydraulic assist. Constructed with ¼” x 5” x 3” angle iron, with bolt on ramp legs. Ramp to be stowed in a vertical position during transportation (i.e. will not rest on the beavertail). Decking - 2-inch nominal oak hardwood plank floor laid lengthwise. Each end of board shall be attached to the cross members with a minimum of two (2) torx head screws (or equivalent) and at intermediate locations between. 3) Heavy Duty Bulkhead or Bangboard at front of platform. 3. Suspension - A) Axles - Two (2) 15,000 lb. (min.) heavy duty axles with dual wheels, greaseable hubs. Axles must be placed in proper position in relation to length of trailer and load carrying capacity. B) Springs – 9700 Hutch spring suspension (or equivalent).
