Specifications include, but are not limited to: Maintenance of Mequon Rd. Medians (west of Wauwatosa Rd. East to Port Washington Rd.) TREE & SHRUB PRUNING - Once during this season, upon request by the park’s director, all trees and shrubs will be trimmed to shape and we will remove all unwanted growth. BED MAINTENANCE - All tree rings, planting beds and cement islands will have debris removed, Round Up applied as necessary on a bi-weekly basis. Service dates will be April 15 thru Nov 15 which equals no less than 16 visits. PLANT REPLACEMENT – Replacement of dead plant material once annually. To be done prior to mulch. Park and Forestry Superintendent will assist the company representative in identifying the plants to be replaced that year. (Allowance for replacement plant material should included in bid) WATERING – Watering three times weekly for newly installed plant replacements or until establishment. BED EDGING – Bed edging shall be completed once annually prior to mulch installation FALL CLEAN UP - Once growing season is over (approx. Nov 15 – 20) all shrubs will be pruned back, perennials will be cut down, and other annual vegetation will be removed. MULCH INSTALLATION - Once during this season, upon request by the park’s director, all tree rings and planting beds will be top dressed with 1” of shredded hardwood oak mulch. (1” should bring beds to 3” depth). Maintenance of Cedarburg Rd.
