Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Department seeks qualified consultants to provide design, management, scoping, planning, implementation, and resident engineering services under the following general categories (see Section II for more detail): • Asset Management • Wastewater Plant Design and Evaluation • Wastewater collection and Pump Stations • Water Treatment Design and Evaluation • Water distribution system evaluation and design • Stormwater treatment, infrastructure and facility planning. • General Mapping and Drafting • Survey • Transportation • Structural • Geotechnical • Landscape Architecture • Environmental To be considered, interested parties shall provide information as described in Section III of this document. Selected consultants will enter into contracts covering the aforementioned duration and become pre-qualified for assignment to individual projects. Once pre-qualified, project assignments will be made based on qualifications of the firm in relation to the requirements of the project, current workload, and past performance. A scope of work, schedule, and budget for each individual project will be developed cooperatively by the consultant and DPW Project Manager or the director’s designee. II. Project Categories The Montpelier DPW is seeking qualified consultants to provide services under but not limited to the following general categories: • Asset Management - system implementation, program development, and other associated services • Survey- topographic survey, land records research, deed research, ROW certifications and other associated services. • Mapping and Drafting- ESRI mapping services and AutoCAD drafting • Wastewater Plant Design and Evaluation – Capital Projects, TMDL compliance, modeling, studies/reports, permitting and other associated services. • Wastewater Collection and Pump Stations - new piping design, CIPP / UV lining projects and Combined Sewer Overflow separation projects and other associated services. • Water Treatment Facility design – capital improvements, filter capacity and media evaluation, pneumatic valve conversion and other associated services.: • Water Distribution – Pipe sizing, hydraulic modeling, water pump station and storage tank design. Permitting, Automatic Meter Reading and other associated services. • Stormwater – system management TMDL compliance, modeling, system improvements, site grading plans, facility management plans, permitting and other associated services. • Transportation - planning and studies, design, installation, signage, traffic calming, Complete Streets, bicycle and pedestrian enhancements and safety, lighting, traffic signal design and optimization and other associated services • Structural - structural engineering, structural maintenance, design, installation, and other associated activity
