Beginning at the trail originating at the Parking Area (125 Fire Pond Road) and merging with a new trail from the original walk-in entrance (lower Fire Pond Road). Smooth, shape, and grade a 6’ wide trail base. This trail shall be finished with 6” of loose surepac that is then rolled/compacted. Install appropriate drainage on this section where necessary. The total work area has been marked and delineated with grade stakes 6’ apart. Some areas throughout the Village Park will require additional drainage work. This work could include using coarse rock/stone, filter fabric, etc. Further discretion will be left to the chosen contractor. From the original walk-in entrance, reduce the steep slope by doing minor excavation work to create a trail incorporating rest areas in approximately 50’ intervals. Prepare the site and install a kiosk at the rest area, approximately 50’ from the entrance.
