Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Vendor must provide clear instructions on what will cause overage fees and photodocument each occurrence. All overage fees will be negotiable and agreed to by both the vendor and city before charges are assessed. • Supply and maintain trash containers in a clean and neat condition. • An empty container/dumpster will be placed at the time of pickup. • Disposal of all material placed in the dumpsters in accordance with all State, Federal, and local laws and regulations. • Vendor shall maintain a reasonable standard of quality and service during the term of the agreement. • Upon being awarded the contract, the vendor shall: o Provide the specified size container(s) to the locations. o Containers that are picked up at least once a week shall be deodorized and sprayed with pest repellant once a month. o Containers shall be in good condition without holes or perforations that allow waste or trash to leak through. o Containers are to be upright, level, and within the designated space. • The successful vendor shall be held responsible for all damages incurred while loading, unloading, and transporting portable trash compactors and containers. The vendor shall be responsible for all repairs to containers they own. • The container area must be kept clean. All trash in area must be picked up and hauled away. The driver shall be responsible for picking up trash that has fallen around the containers during disposal. • Failure to perform to standards shall be cause for cancellation of service. • Locations, sizes, and types of containers may be added or deleted during the life of the contract. Containers shall be provided by the vendor.
