The University of Nebraska is requesting proposals from qualified bidders to provide all material and labor for the Demolition of the University Residence South and University Residence North buildings not the University of Nebraska at Kearney campus. Base bid includes demolition of the two buildings, foundation removals, utility abandonment, site sidewalks, and University Drive pedestrian crossing improvements adjacent to the canal bridge. Alternate 1 includes a new bike path along the south side University Drive and associated lighting from the canal to the west side of the URS property. Alternate 2 includes a new bike path along the south side of University Drive on the Ockinga Property west of URS and includes University crossing improvements at that location.
