Specifications include, but are not limited to: The College of Engineering and Mines is expanding its materials characterization laboratory and is looking for an ion chromatography to replace its 25-year-old one. The following specifications apply to the instrument: • Can measure at least seven ions: F-, Cl-, NO3-N, NO2-N, Br-, PO43-, and SO42- • Detection limits of all the above seven ions must NOT be greater than 10 ppb. • The system shall consist of a single analytical channel capable of running anions or conventional cations. • The system shall be capable of ppb to ppm level analysis of aqueous samples for cations without requiring use of a suppressor. • The system must be capable of detecting low concentration of NO3¬-N and NO2¬-N and Br- under an extremely high concentration of Cl- background, such as produced water sample. This could be done by two different detectors or other effective approaches. • Door-to-door shipping must be included. • The equipment package must include costs for installation by a company technician and initial onsite training by the equipment provider.
