3.3.1 The Bidder must be able to provide the three different units requested: 10 print, single print (single digit), and palm scanner. 3.3.2 All processing required to capture, encode, transmit the transaction, and receive/display the response must be handled by the laptop attached to the scanner. DOC will not accept a system which requires the addition of a central server and/or local site servers. 3.3.3 The LiveScan system laptops must have the ability to connect to the DOC network using a wired ethernet connection for transmission of LiveScan transactions to the Wisconsin DOJ. 3.3.4 The system must allow the LiveScan operator to select the type of submission (criminal or applicant) as part of the fingerprinting workflow. 3.3.5 The scanners must be certified by the FBI as tested and in compliance with the FBI's Next Generation Identification (NGI) Image Quality Specifications (IQS). 3.3.6 The system must capture and electronically submit Wisconsin criminal palm and fingerprint transactions, in accordance with the Law Enforcement Applicant (LEAP) fingerprint transactions format, to the Wisconsin DOJ. The printer provided must be a FBI certified printer and have software to enable the printing of criminal fingerprint cards (FBI FD-249) using the prints captured by the LiveScan system.
