Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Department of Corrections (DOC) requests Bids for the installation of data cabling and equipment. The installation may occur in any DOC leased or owned building, located throughout the State of Wisconsin. DOC intends to use the results of this process to create a Contractor list. The list will be ranked based on the results of this RFB process (lowest to highest cost). When a DOC location requires cabling and equipment installation, DOC will contact the first Contractor on the list. If that vendor is unable to provide the service, DOC will move on to the next Contractor on the list. Contractors are not required to serve all locations within the State. However, repeated inability to respond to DOC requests for jobs will be grounds for DOC to take Contractor off the list and/or to “skip” the Contractor when going down the list.
