Establish a state-focused Maternal Health Task Force to create and implement a strategic plan that incorporates activities outlined in the state’s most recent State Title V Needs Assessment. Improve state-level maternal health data and surveillance. Promote and execute innovation in maternal health service delivery through addressing critical gaps in direct clinical care, workforce, maternal health data, and partnership and community engagement. This announced opportunity will focus on goal one by assisting the Maternal Health Task Force with strategic planning activities, culminating in a draft Maternal Health Strategic Plan to be launched at a statewide Maternal Health Summit the following year. The strategic plan will incorporate Task Force activities to support statewide and community-level maternal health improvement efforts and to provide ongoing education and technical assistance to support both state and local actions around maternal health. It will also incorporate activities outlined in the state’s most recent State Title V Needs Assessment.
