Specifications include, but are not limited to: 10.1 Provide all work and materials to install metal roofing in accordance with industry standards and applicable codes, ordinances, and regulations. 10.2 Provide all required permits for the project. 10.3 Measure roofs for exact dimensions. 10.4 Remove and haul away all shingles, roofing materials. Site should be cleaned up after project is completed. 10.5 Replace sheeting and flashing where required. See Optional Bid Pricing in Attachment C 10.6 Replace fascia, sofit, D edge with commercial metal matching roof color as selected. 10.7 Install 6-inch seamless gutters. 10.8 Install full size, clamp on, metal snow bars. 10.9 Install Ice and water barrier such as Grace Ice and Water Shield or comparable product. 10.10 Install 26 gauge commercial standing seam “double lock” or “snap lock” style with sealant in seams, with 16” or 18” ribs per manufacturer’s specifications. Residential roof panels sold by home improvement stores are not acceptable. 10.11 Roof finish must be Kynar paint systems standard colors. Provide a sample chart of available standard colors and furnish warranty information with your submittal. 10.12 Hidden fasteners on roofing panels standard fasteners may be used on cap and trim per roofing manufacture’s installation specifications. 10.13 Replace venting as needed. See Optional Bid Pricing in Attachment C. 10.14 Minimum 20 year commercial warranty including roofing materials and finish.
