Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Henderson is calling on all artists to design and create one (1) unique mural for a utility box at the Arryo Grande Sports Complex located at the intersection of North Arroyo Grande Boulevard and American Pacific Drive in Henderson, Nevada. The mural area is approximately 8’ wide and 7’6’ tall (totaling approximately +/- 115 square feet). The mural will enhance the cultural beauty and environment of the Arroyo Grande Sports Complex and support the City’s efforts to make all Henderson Parks and Recreation facilities more welcoming for all. The mural must encapsulate a softball theme and complement the adjacent sports fields. The mural should embody the athleticism, atmosphere, history, and camaraderie of this vibrant and iconic American sport. Softball is a sport that encompasses pitching, hitting, fielding, and base running, and employs equipment such as bats, balls, gloves, and protective gear. Softball emphasizes teamwork, strategy, and skill, which enables the sport to have universal appeal and widespread popularity among players and fans alike.
