Specifications include, but are not limited to: The scope of work for this proposal consists of performing structural tests and special inspections per the included program provided by Tighe & Bond. Tests and special inspections will be performed in accordance with the applicable specification sections included in Tighe & Bond’s Issued for CMAR Pricing Project Documents dated 9/1/2023. The frequency and number of tests and special inspections will be per the below estimates. Please note, this project is exempt from payment of sales and compensating use taxes of the State of Maine on all materials to be incorporated into the work. This project is also subject to Davis-Bacon wage rate requirements. Please assume the following quantities of tests and inspections: Sitework (Spec Sections 02315 and 02740) • Laboratory Moisture-Density Testing (Proctor): Tests for 3 different backfill materials from Shaw Brothers I-Pit in Dayton, ME. • Compaction Testing: 25 trips, +/- 8,500 CY of backfill materials • Placement of Pavements (compaction testing): 2 trips; Driven Piles and SOE (Spec Section 02260 and 02455) • Vibration monitoring, witnessed installation, and pile logs for driven piles: 55 days • Vibration monitoring for install and removal of SOE sheet piles: 30 days; Cast-in-Place Concrete Construction (Spec Section 03300) • Air & Slump / Compression Tests: +/- 7,300 yards, and +/- 60 placements; Welding Inspections (Spec Section 05050) • Welding and Nondestructive Testing: o 402 (EA) field welded pile caps, 4 days...
