Specifications include, but are not limited to: Contractor shall provide and complete the following: 21.2.1. Pool Water 1. A summary of startup readings logged: including chemical automation set points, flow rates, filter pressures. 2. A summary of weekly readings logged: including free chlorine, total chlorine, pH levels, Alkalinity, CSI, HRR, ORP, Set Points, Flow Rates, vacuum gauge readings, pressure gauge readings. 3. Notify City of any emergency maintenance as soon as possible. 4. Notify and obtain permission from City before making any repair outside of work listed here. 5. Upon request from City, provide service to any pool or fountain owned/operated by City. 6. Respond to service calls within twenty-four (24 hours), and respond to any emergency service call within two (2) hours. 21.2.2. Season Startup – Facility Preparation 1. Check pool piping/valve placement/function. Correct as needed. Note: Gordon Plumbing de-winterizes pool piping and connects chemical pump lines under separate agreement with City. Contractor should review connections and correct as needed. 2. Inspect filter media and log its condition. 3. Check pressure gauges and flow meters to ensure that all are properly installed and in working condition. 4. Check to insure proper flow rate and influent/effluent pressures. 5. Notify City of any issues. 21.2.3. Season Startup – Chemical Automation (within 24 hours of pool circulating) 1. Set up and calibrate chemical automation system (chemical feed pumps in automatic). 2. Mode set to proportional as needed; feed Limits set to 8 hours for chlorine and 4 hours for acid; remove all codes for access (except Factory Rep Code). 3. Clean probes. 4. Test flow switch operations on chemical controller. 5. Check operation of chemical feeder pumps and prime as needed. 6. Inspect/clean all injectors. 7. Repair/replace flexible chemical feed tubing as needed (using proper-sized tubing for chemical pump and injector (no adaptors/reducers). 8. Repair/replace the following as needed: tubing fittings, chemical system ball valves/fittings. 9. Check operation of chemical feed pumps/prime as needed. 10. Balance pool water/chemical range within Marion County Health Department (MCHD) standards (proper chemical balance must be maintained for 48 hours prior to turning over pool operation to on site staff)...
