Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Contractor shall perform the removal of exis�ng Shingles and Felt. And the removal of all debris from project site. 2. Contractor shall be responsible for all safety barriers to keep bystanders out of work areas and at a safe distance. 3. Contractor shall be responsible for any permits that maybe required. 4. Contractor shall remove skylights and frame in the openings and deck over with same thickness as rest of decking and on the inside ceiling skylight openings cover to best match material and finish. And if opening is deep may be able to picture frame and put a plas�c diffuser. (Check with Greg Hart up front 501.554.9704) 5. Contractor shall furnish all materials, tools and labor, equipment to install new drip edge and StormTread synthe�c roofing underlayment or equivalent and 30- year architectural shingles on roof Approx. (1’152 sq. �.) of roof area. And Approx. (134’ lin. Ft. drip edge) and Approx. (32’ lin. Ft. vent ridge. 6. Contractor shall cut back decking and underlayment (approx. 2" from center line of ridge for ven�la�on and to install new vent ridge. 7. The color of shingles shall best match exis�ng and other roofs if close to the one that’s being replaced. 8. Contractor shall install a premium starter strip around the eaves and rakes to help prevent wind upli�. 9. Contractor shall nail the shingles with a minimum one inch in length and a minimum four nails per shingle. 10. Contractor shall install the en�re roof system to meet manufacturer’s specifica�ons and any state, county, and city building codes. 11. Contractor shall install new roof vent boots/jacks. Roof vent boots & flashing, and chimney flashing to be painted color to best match roof. 12. Contractor shall remove turbine vents if applicable and patch decking.
