The City of Portland wishes to utilize the services of a contractor to assess the condition of sewer lines and manholes located within the City of Portland Maine. The overall goal is to develop a relationship with the contractor that can supplement the City’s in-house program in order to a meet regulatory mandated inspection of 6% of the City’s sanitary sewer system. Stormwater assets may also be included in the scope of work when funding is available. The successful contractor must be able to perform full-service sewer/storm cleaning and inspection as the City has not had an adequate flushing program in place and the CCTV work will be reliant on a quality pre-cleaning program that will be developed. The condition assessment must conform to NASSCO PACP specifications with resultant data capable of being downloaded into the City’s Version of Cityworks, asset management software and ITpipes, inspection database software.
