Specifications include, but are not limited to: sub-acute crisis residential services for all referred adult (age 18+) citizens of North Dakota. Sub-acute crisis residential services are designed to resolve the presence of acute or crisis behavioral health symptoms or the imminent risk of onset of acute or crisis behavioral health symptoms for individuals experiencing a decreased level of functioning due to a behavioral health concern. The sub-acute treatment setting provides a protective environment that includes stabilization, support, risk assessment, crisis-psychotherapy, wellness, and connection to ongoing services provided 24 hours a day, seven days a week. These facilities are intended to be short-term, intensive, and recovery-oriented.
