Specifications include, but are not limited to: 29.1.1. Remove existing shingle roofing, edge flashings and vent pipe flashings 29.1.2. Clean, prepare, and re-nail roof deck as needed 29.1.3. Remove and replace deteriorated fascia 29.1.4. Install new aluminum edge flashing on complete perimeter 29.1.5. Apply winter guard ice/water shield & leak barrier 29.1.6. Install roof deck underlayment 29.1.7. Install starter shingles on all eaves and rakes 29.1.8. Install new vent pipe boots at all existing plumbing vents 29.1.9. Re-flash metal chimney where existing 29.1.10.Install ridge hip and ridge caps on all hips and ridges 29.1.11. All onsite debris shall be cleared away and discarded at each workdays end. 29.2. Vendor shall supply all labor, tools, transportation, materials, equipment and permits as necessary and required to perform services as described herein. 29.3. Except as otherwise provided in this Scope of Services, all services performed under any contract resulting from this solicitation shall be performed between the hours of 7:30 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. unless other arrangements are made in advance with the State. Any deviation in work hours shall be pre-approved by the Contracting Officer. The State requires ten-day advance knowledge of said work schedules to provide security and access to respective work areas. No premium charges shall be paid for any off-hour work. 29.4. The Vendor shall not commence work until a conference is held with each State agency intending to utilize the Vendor’s services, at which representatives of the Vendor and the State are present. The conference shall be arranged by the State agency.
