Contracted charter bus services for up to 16 athletic teams. The goal of this project is to provide a safe, reliable, and consistent approach to bus services. The STATE reserves the right to use their own fleet transportation when applicable. APPLICABLE DIRECTIVES This project is subject to the following: Federal Motorcoach Safety Administration (FMSA) requirements and guidelines from the Department of Transportation (DOT). The contractor is responsible for identifying and complying with all state and federal requirements that apply to the contract. REQUIREMENTS DELIVERABLES The contractor will be required to provide the following to achieve the objective of this project: Contracted charter bus service for up to 16 athletic teams. Meet the schedule requirements of all athletic teams. Schedules will be provided so the contractor can ensure staffing and bus services are available. Pick up and return teams to Minot, ND or as teams have arranged. There will be overnight travel required on certain trips. Information will generally be available as each sport season begins. Per mile charge for travel with the teams. This does not include empty bus trips to and from Minot. Driver daily rate. Capacity to have multiple teams traveling at the same time. Information on need will be communicated ahead of time for planning. Monthly maintenance/safety inspection log. All buses must be charter buses with a restroom and reclining seats. Prefer buses with Wi-Fi and 110 volt outlets.
