DNREC Division of Watershed is seeking access to 10,000 tons of sand for the Northside Indian River Inlet. Sand shall be natural or manufactured sand and shall be clean and free from roots and other organic matter, trash or debris. In addition, the sand shall not contain minerals which may be potentially staining, e.g. iron, clay. The sand shall be white, pale tan or light gray in color and shall match one or more of the colors classified by the Munsell® Soil Color Charts as described below. Gradation test reports shall be submitted prior to delivery of sand to the project site.
