Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Contractor agrees to furnish all labor, equipment, and materials to operate the Facility and the Household Hazardous Waste Mobile Collection Sites (“Collection Sites”) according to the terms and provisions set forth herein. 1. Facility. The Facility is open to the public Fridays and Saturdays from 8:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. The Facility is closed on holidays observed by Ada County when the Landfill is closed. The Contractor shall operate the Facility with responsibility for (at a minimum) the following: a. Receiving and Processing. The Contractor will assume operational duties at the Facility and will be directly responsible for collection, identification, segregation, packaging, storing, transporting, recycling, treatment and disposal of materials received at the Facility. i. Greet customers with professionalism and courtesy when unloading their incoming materials. ii. Segregate received materials. iii. Identify unknowns. iv. Decant paints by type (latex or oil-based) when applicable. v. Decant 5-gallon containers. vi. Identify material for inclusion in the County’s Reuse Program. vii. Operate the VSQG Program.
