Specifications include, but are not limited to: Said Proposal shall include all labor, tools, implements, machinery, materials, and any incidentals necessary to complete the work in the manner and time prescribed, and in strict conformity with the Contract Documents to the satisfaction of the City Engineer. In general, the major work items include: Demolition of the two existing boilers, flue, pumps, expansion tank, hot water piping, boiler controls, boiler, and pump power. Installation of two (2) new boilers, boiler flues, boiler dampers, hot water pump, chemical feed tank, boiler controls, expansion tank, two (2) 5 hp VFD’s, new boiler pump, VFD power, new lighting; installation and/or rework associated piping and electrical systems; and perform any other miscellaneous work as outlined in the plans and specifications.
