Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, is seeking proposals from well-qualified Architectural firms (“Consultant”) to conduct a space needs study/assessment that evaluates current and future needs of the Sun Prairie Police Department. The purpose of the study is to define the current conditions and anticipated needs of the police department (administration, operations, equipment, and training) and the assessment for use of the current space utilized by the police department in the event the police department is relocated from its current locations. The analysis shall include a thorough review and recommendations for the number of options available to the City, including but not limited to, the police department remaining as two separate facilities located at 300 E. Main Street and 2598 W. Main Street, providing additions/remodels to the current locations, or possible relocation to one new site with proximities appropriate for utmost functionality. The analysis shall include a final recommendation and cost estimate to complete the recommended project. It is anticipated that the contract for this study will be approved by August of 2024, with the final report due from the Consultant no later than August of 2025.
