Specifications include, but are not limited to: The North Dakota Department of Transportation, Audit Services Division, hereafter NDDOT, is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to establish a pool of vendors who can perform internal audit services on behalf of NDDOT on an as-needed basis. The selected vendors will be expected to provide various internal audit service reviews. A Work Order Request (see Attachment 3), based on preference audits (for contractors in the vendor pool), will be completed for each audit engagement to describe the scope of each audit, the audit deliverables and associated timeline, the vendor’s planned staff and the cost of the audit to be mutually agreed upon by NDDOT and the vendor. Areas of the department to be reviewed include, but are not limited to the following: 1. Financial audits 2. Compliance audits 3. Operational audits 4. Risk assessments 5. Fraud investigations 6. IT audits 7. Performance audits 8. Special reviews as requested by management.
