The UND College and Engineering and Mines is seeking a NRTL Certified vendor that has the necessary qualifications to perform safety testing and certification for a Graphitization Furnace recently purchased by UND. We are seeking your hourly rate to perform the service. The UND College and Engineering and Mines has a Model CX-GF20/30VT 3000 Deg Lab Graphitization Furnace from Zhuzhou Chenxin Induction Equipment The UND College and Engineering and Mines . It has a 480-volt 300amp service and we need to have the furnace UL certified. When it was ordered it was stated to be UL certified but upon receiving the unit it was not. They did include a UL report, but the furnace is not UL certified. We need a UL inspector to come conduct a UL certification inspection and report what needs to change or be modified to comply with UL. We need it to be UL certified in the end. The location of the furnace is 1830 Mill Road, Grand Forks, ND. We have our in-house electrician who will change / modify the furnace, within reason, as required to get the UL certification.
