Specifications include, but are not limited to: The CITY seeks proposals from qualified and experienced vendors to provide a tailored training program in Community Violence Intervention. These services may include, but may not be limited to: • Pre-Meeting Preparation o Review relevant documents, reports, and existing data related to community violence in Omaha. o Familiarize oneself with the goals and objectives of the City of Omaha's CVI initiatives. o Develop an agenda for the meeting in consultation with the City of Omaha CVI Working Group. • Strategic Planning Meeting Facilitation o Coordinate logistics, including scheduling, venue (virtual or in-person), and technology. o Lead the strategic planning meeting with the CVI Working Group and relevant stakeholders. o Facilitate discussions to identify key training needs, priorities, and objectives based on the specific challenges and dynamics of the Omaha community. o Encourage active participation from all stakeholders, ensuring diverse perspectives are considered. o Guide the group in brainstorming potential training topics, methodologies, and delivery formats. o Facilitate consensus-building and decision-making processes to establish clear goals and outcomes for the tailored training program. o Document key discussion points, decisions, and action items arising from the strategic planning meeting. • Host three (3) CVI trainings over the course of the project period for the City of Omaha. o One (1) of the three (3) sessions will be for non-provider community group to focus on how they can engage and support CVI work. o One (1) of the three (3) sessions will focus on Law Enforcements role in CVI work and how they can work together. o One (1) of the three (3) sessions will be Community Violence Intervention Certification for individuals currently providing CVI in Omaha. Deliverables • Agenda and meeting materials for the strategic planning meeting. • Meeting facilitation services, including preparation and execution. • Summary report documenting the outcomes of the strategic planning meeting, including identified training needs, priorities, objectives, and action items.
