Specifications include, but are not limited to: Central Street westerly side @ Route 15 (CR08097) Install Detectable Warning Fields in existing concrete sidewalk • Saw cut and remove 7’-8” x 2’-8” of existing concrete sidewalk • Regrade removal area as needed to accept 4” of new concrete • Install 7’ x 2’ Detectable Warning Fields matching existing sidewalk slopes • Remove existing painted crosswalk across Central Street between Asset ID’s CR08097 & CR08100 • Paint new crosswalk across Central Street between Asset ID’s CR08097 & CR08100 Central Street easterly side @ Route 15 (CR08100) Install Detectable Warning Fields in existing concrete sidewalk • Saw cut (full width) and remove 6’-0” x 2’-8” of existing concrete sidewalk • Regrade removal area as needed to accept 4” of new concrete • Install 5’- 4” x 2’ Detectable Warning Fields matching existing sidewalk slopes • Place loam, seed, & mulch as needed on both sides of sidewalk Latitude: 44.571707 Longitude: -68.793231 Route 3 southerly side (CR12802) Construct Pedestrian Ramp • Construct per SD 801(27) • Coordinate with Mount Dessert Water District for lowering the existing water shut-off located in the existing sidewalk ramp • Remove existing pavement on sidewalk approx. 21’ x 5’ and on shoulder approx.. 23’ x 2’ • Remove 21’ existing Curb Type 1 • Reset existing 7’ tip-down and approximately 3’- 4” existing Curb Type 1 • Regrade existing sidewalk approx. 21’ x 5’ & shoulder approximately 23’ x 2’ • Repave sidewalk (2”) & shoulder (4”) along face of curb • Install 5’ x 2’ Detectable Warning Fields • Remove existing perpendicular painted crosswalk across Route 3 • Paint new skewed crosswalk across Route 3 • Install regulatory pedestrian signs on both sides of Route 3 near ends of new crosswalk.
