Specifications include, but are not limited to: • This project can be worked on 7 days a week from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. • Remove chimney to below roof sheathing. • Remove existing roofing, sheathing, rafters, ceiling and collar ties. • Retain original gables. • Replace with manufactured attic storage type trusses allowing for in kind geometry and overhang details. (Creating some modest future mechanical space.) Trusses have an estimated 17.3-degree pitch. • 5/8” sheathing. • Install 30-year architectural shingle. Color TBD. Please include an add alt for standing seam roof. • Replace, prep and paint all exterior gable siding, trim and soffits damaged or replaced during construction with original if easily salvaged or new in kind or any combination thereof. • Re-wire ceiling lighting. Add / Alt • Sheetrock, tape and paint ceiling. Add / Alt • Insulate with dense pack cellulose or equal. Add / Alt • All labor and mechanical requirements by contractor. • Keeping the area around the exterior of the work site clean and free of hazards is an absolute must. Dumpsters to be provided by the Town of Swanzey. • All work to be completed by December 31, 2024 • Note: No work to take place from 7/3 – 7/8
