Specifications include, but are not limited to: The work contemplated in the Proposal consists of realigning the Riha Road sideroad connection with Highway 50 approximately 150 ft south of its current location. The realignment will allow for correction of the intersection skew providing for improved driver visibility. Construction improvements will also include the addition of a right-turn lane along the highway. Work to construct the turn lane is expected to require removal and replacement of existing shoulder pavement, removal and installation of new guardrail, a length extension to an adjacent concrete box culvert, utility coordination, and temporary traffic control signage along the highway during construction.
